Allow customers to combine store credit with FREE shipping credits

Tip: Shipping credits are conveniently issued and tracked separately from store credit. If customers experience a delayed or poor delivery experience, brands may choose to waive future shipping costs on an order by offsetting shipping fees with shipping credits

If you are a Shopify Plus brand and use Shopwaive Gift Cards, shipping credits are not necessary since a gift card will apply toward all line item costs

To combine store credit with shipping credit follow the steps outlined below. Open the app and click the item in the left side menu labeled Settings

Click Settings from the drop down menu

Once you click Settings, scroll down and toggle on the Shipping credits setting.

Customer logs into their account

Once your customer logs into their account, the Shopwaive popup will now include a Shipping credit field, in addition to the credit redemption field.

After logging in, customers follow these steps to combine credit with discount codes

Redeem Shipping Credit — Step-by-step:

1. Add items to your cart

2. Click the Shopwaive button at the bottom left of the page and enter the amount of credit you wish to redeem into the top field

3. Above the credit field, check the box to include a FREE shipping credit

4. Click Apply to checkout to combine store credit with FREE shipping.

5. Proceed to checkout with store credit combined with the shipping credit by clicking the Go to checkout button.
